Tinashe then invited Rose to a meeting with other Transform Zimbabwe party activists in Southerton, to which she boarded a commuter omnibus to Southerton. She was abducted immediately after disembarking from the omnibus by 4 men who were driving a white Ford Ranger without number plates. The abductors were said to be alleging the involvement of Transform Zimbabwe in the two organizations. She was quizzed on the source of funding of Transform Zimbabwe. She also described that she was being held in a house most probably in a suburb in Harare and she could hear a lot of traffic on a road nearby and could not remember traveling for a long distance since she was abducted.
