Dynamos get foreign coach to take over after loss against Highlanders

The Harare team Dynamos are set to get rid of their coach Lloyd Mutasa following an embarrassing the 2-1 defeat against bitter rivals Highlanders on last Sunday. Highlanders (Bosso) completed a memorable double after beating Dynamos 2-0 in the reverse fixture in Harare.

Several reports state that another foreigner, a Botswana national, David Bright has been lined up for the job. Bright has been invited for talks by thy the club.

The new coach is considered to be one of Botswana’s most successful coaches. He won three consecutive Botswana Premier League (BPL) titles between 1999 and 2001 with Mogoditshane Fighters.

“I have not heard of the name you are mentioning but like any ambitious institution, if results are not coming changes are bound to be made, and we shall make them,”  Dynamos chairperson Kenny Mubaiwa is reported saying this.
