Mtukudzi and Macheso Show in UK Venue Goes on fire

The Oliver Mtukudzi and Alick Macheso show in Leicester was a success against odds after the venue the two were to stage yesterday, mysteriously went on fire, resulting in the venue being changed at the last minute to 97 Church Gate Leicester LE1 3AN.

British Police have since opened an investigation for arson amid belief suspected anti-ZANU PF activists might have in anger attacked the building in protest at the two musicians’ Zim show where they played at Robert Mugabe’s solidarity do in Harare

One of the angry men who harassed Alick Macheso at the Leeds show, was caught at the scene and ended up apologising: “Sorry sorry, I am sorry”, the visibly drunk man whose name could not be obtained at the time of writing said to us.

Promoters late Saturday made rushed moves to change the venue announcing “the original venue Corah Suite caught fire in the late afternoon.
