Prof. Moyo concedes that police were at fault
MINISTER of Higher and Tertiary Education Professor Jonathan Moyo recently conceded that the police were at fault during the Wednesday 24th and Friday 26th demonstrations that took place in Harare. The demonstrations turned out to be violent leading to destruction of some properties and a good number of people getting injured.
Professor Moyo, made a concession which he probably was not aware of by the time he posted on his tweeter account. In a dramatic fashion, he conceded that the police were at fault and later on blamed the U.S Embassy for using pseudo operatives dressed in police uniforms to tarnish the image of Zimbabwe Republic Police.
The interpretation of his post clearly means that the police were at fault in their actions but nonetheless the organization cannot be blamed because the attack on citizens was an operative by the “west.” The Minister was quick to absolve the police force by transferring the blame to the U.S Embassy.
